Why do some videos have millions of views while others have only a few thousand? I guess that will be one of those questions that we may never have an answer to. Here is one of those slept on videos (found on Jo3ma’s blog), a freestyle cypher from the Black Hippy crew. Schoolboy Q recently came to town (Varsity Theatre) and tore it down, which is funny because in this article with Fader Magazine, he said he was nervous to move forward because he felt like the least talented in the group. Ha! Must mean they have a pretty strong crew. See for yourself:

This is our inspiration for the “Be Scene” blog. Our intention is to spread love to the people doing big things, regardless of their affiliation to No Static Records.
Be Scene will be updated (almost daily) with music that we think is worth listening to, from local to worldwide levels. It is not genre-bound and will showcase funkadelic features produced by all sorts of artists, from A(l Green) to Z(Z Top). Actually, there will be no ZZ Top but you get the point.
