#1. Ride A High – Big Zach ft. Alicia Steele

“Ride A High” is featured on Big Zach’s second solo album New Crayons, and is graced with the vocals of Alicia Steele. If positivity is how you start your day, then set this song as your alarm clock.

#2. Worth It – Alicia Steele

“Worth It” is a brand new track from Alicia Steele, recorded and mixed by Mike Frey. Alicia has been making major noise lately, recently selling out the Dakota Jazz Club.

#3. Viracocha – Dustin Thomas

Unique to the classic sound of Dustin Thomas music, “Viracocha” is part of a new solo project that he is presently working on. This track was recorded, mixed, produced entirely by him and includes multiple layers of vocals, beat-boxing, and guitar strokes. Basically, every sound you hear on this track was produced naturally by Dustin… in a one-day long studio session.

#4. Live, Life, Lead – Duenday ft. Sean Anonymous

“Live, Life, Lead” is a relatively slept-on track from the Matt duo of Duenday. Featuring the spit fire rhymes of Sean Anonymous (Wide Eyes) and produced by Taylor Madrigal (Audio Perm), this is a an all-around solid hip hop track.

#5. Dear Love – Niles Miller

“Dear Love” is a recently released track from Niles, featured on his last project, Good Karma III: The Journey. The chorus may sound familiar to you, sampled from the popular Bon Iver track, Skinny Love.

#6. Float – Dylan LP

“Float” is a solo track from Dylan LP (Big Dylan), rapped over a GodLee Barnes instro. GodLee Barnes, otherwise known as Blu, has a jazzy-like style similar to Dylan’s, making this song a perfect match.

#7. Good With That – Niles Miller & Dylan LP

“Good With That” is an older track from Niles and Dylan, released back in April. This is actually the rough first-take and was originally planned to be a track on the GK3 tape. Since it did not make the tracklist, we decided to include it in the compilation. The instrumental was produced by Javier Santiago.

#8. Connect – Alicia Steele & Mike Frey

“Connect” was produced by Mike Frey and features vocals from Alicia Steele. The track is part of a larger project, called Burnt Out [free download], entirely produced by Frey. This cut also has visual accompaniment; check the video a video filmed/directed by Greg Grease (RiverLife).

#9. 92 Degrees – Non Grata (Dylan LP & Yakub)

“92 Degrees” is a track off of the Non Grata project, Persona Non Grata. Non Grata is a project between Dylan LP x Yakub x (prod. by) Maxx Appeal. The video, produced by Kale of CKFD LTD., makes you feel as if you are on some sort of hallucinogenic drug… beware. The Non Grata tape is projected to drop in the Spring of ’12.

#10. Monkey Loser – Big Zach and DJ Gabe Garcia

“Monkey Loser” is a solo track from Zach with scratches from DJ Gabe Garcia (Turnt Up). The lyrics on this song are a Zach trademark, surrounding the subjects of sex and happy pills. Mixed in with these slapstick syllables are sharp scratches from Gabe, featuring a well-blended sample of Wonderwall by Oasis. Side note: Zach has written a book and will be releasing it on Thursday, December 1st at Honey.

#11. Hungry, Happy, Sleepy – Niles Miller & Dylan LP ft. Yakub

Hungry, Happy, Sleepy was a song inspired by the baby powder wielding, Katt Williams. The No Static family has a large amount of respective for the pimp hand of Mr. Williams, which is why this track is so special to us. Featuring bars from Niles, Dylan, and Yakub, as well as a sample from some Katt stand-up. Basically, the perfect song to blaze to. The track was produced by Maxx Appeal.

#12. Both Sides of the Spectrum – Duenday ft. Manny Phesto

“Both Sides of the Spectrum” is an introspective track off of Duenday’s debut album. The track features Manny Phesto, a younger cat from Minneapolis who is on the come up.
